GAC and stuff

Um the lan was fantastic, not really much more to it than that, after the internet finally came on :P.
But yeah I've been to a lot of liberty lans and rAge but I really enjoyed how much friendlier it was. At the larger lans you have your group you came with and that's kind of it. Here I had a chat with more than half the people there which really adds to the experience. You can play a game of dota and immediately chat with someone you laned against.
The braai was a nice touch and honestly is never a bad idea. Meeting everyone was absolutely fantastic; being able to finally put names to tags and then faces to those names. So yeah definitely an awesome experience and I hope to do it again!!

Here in Finland we have a LAN for thousands of people every half a year.. I have never been there, but i have heard that the smell of sweat and nerds is undescribable.

It is a smaller event only hosting around 60 people at this event, some of the larger ones host around 600+

Is GAC a smaller event than the others, making it more friendly, or was it because you knew more people going into the GAC (e.g. CDT Members)? Glad you had fun, my plane ticket most have gotten lost in the mail!
